How It Works

Submit Your Program for Review

Select your certification and complete the curriculum form. AMT reviews all programs so they meet requirements for instruction and hands-on learning to ensure students are prepared for certification exams.

Receive Your Organization ID

Once your program is authorized, your school or training program will be assigned an AMT Organization ID. With your Organization ID, you can:

  • Connect your students' certification applications to your organization
  • Monitor student progress through My AMT Portal
  • Access management reports

Get Students Started

Once affiliated, AMT supports you with bulk purchases of applications and study resources, plus free resources including the AMT Edge Student Readiness Program, monthly newsletters, and promotional materials.

Program Eligibility

AMT accepts applications from schools and training programs that meet requirements for instruction and hands-on learning. 

Eligible program types include: 

  • High School
  • Career School
  • Community College
  • Technical
  • University
  • Workforce Development
  • Apprenticeship

*Requirements may change. Certificants are held to compliance of criteria current at the application submission.
