American Medical Technologists (AMT) is a not-for-profit credentialing agency and professional membership association uniquely recognized for providing quality certifications that advance allied health careers and uphold rigorous standards of professional competence and patient safety. Founded in 1939, AMT serves over 100,000 professionals and offers 12 certifications across the medical, dental, and laboratory fields.

As a member-led organization, AMT's mission is to promote excellence in healthcare delivery by building a stronger, more competent allied health workforce through credentialing, professional development, community, and advocacy. Educators and employers trust AMT as an independent validator of the knowledge, skills and experiences they have taught and instilled.
