Examinations, Qualifications, and Standards Committees

Our Examinations, Qualifications, and Standards (EQS) Oversight Committee helps manage and select EQS committees for each of AMT’s certification areas.

The following EQS committees perform many duties involved with developing, analyzing, and keeping certification exams current. These groups of subject matter experts are approved by the AMT Board of Directors for each certification field.

  • RMA EQS Committee
  • RPT EQS Committee
  • MLS/MLT EQS Committee
  • CMLA EQS Committee
  • PCT EQS Committee
  • RDA & DAR EQS Committee
  • MDT EQS Committee
  • CMAS EQS Committee

EQS Committee duties include:

  • 3-year service term
  • Develop certification examinations
  • Meet with testing staff once a year
  • Complete tasks assigned throughout the year
