The AMT Board of Directors holds fiduciary responsibilities and helps set strategic direction for the organization through development of the AMT Strategic Plan.

Examination, Qualifications, and Standards Committees:

Our Examination, Qualifications, and Standards (EQS) Oversight Committee helps manage and select EQS committees for each of AMT’s certification areas. The following EQS committees perform many duties involved with developing, analyzing, and keeping certification exams current. These groups of subject matter experts are approved by the AMT Board of Directors for each certification field.

EQS Committee duties include: (we need to have Jim’s group review this)

  • 3-year service term
  • Develop certification examinations
  • Meet with testing staff once a year
  • Complete tasks assigned throughout the year
